At the far end of this row stands the Applecross Inn, a deservedly popular hostelry which has won several awards in recent years for its cuisine. Seafood is a speciality, and Traditional Ale is usually available, both on handpump and in bottles.

Skye and the Cuillins as seen from Applecross Bay at the mouth of the Applecross River. There are some superb views to be seen from here, and the sunsets are often spectacular. 

There are several walks around Applecross village and the surrounding area, all well marked with signposts and way-marks.
